Victor J. Coleman is founder, chairman and CEO of Hudson Pacific Properties, a publicly traded office and studio landlord focused on innovation-oriented markets. Career and Focus

Coleman founded Hudson Capital in 2006 and began by assembling a team and acquiring studio lots in Hollywood. The company went public as Hudson Pacific Properties in 2010. It now owns, develops and operates office and production studio properties in Los Angeles, the San Francisco Bay Area, Seattle, New York and Vancouver. The company’s market selection emphasizes technology, media and other creative industries, with assets designed around tenant needs and production requirements.

Before Hudson Pacific, Coleman co-founded Arden Realty and served as its president and chief operating officer. Arden became a publicly traded office REIT and was sold to GE Real Estate in 2006. Coleman’s experience therefore includes both building a public real estate platform and realizing value through a corporate sale. He currently chairs Hudson Pacific’s board and remains CEO, as confirmed by the company and its 2025 annual filing. He also serves on the board of Kite Realty Group Trust and has participated in real estate, civic and arts organizations in Los Angeles. Coleman holds an MBA from Golden Gate University and a BA in history from UC Berkeley. His career is concentrated in offices and studios, with a distinctive emphasis on properties supporting entertainment production.
