Career
Tsuji joined Mori Building in 1985 after studying architecture. He worked on the Roppongi 6-chome redevelopment and became president and CEO in 2011, succeeding Minoru Mori. In June 2026, Mori Building named Kogo president and CEO and listed Tsuji as executive chairman. Tsuji's current company role is therefore a board-level leadership position, not the chief executive role.
Known For
During Tsuji's tenure, Mori Building completed major Tokyo projects including Toranomon Hills and Azabudai Hills, multi-use districts combining offices, housing, retail, hotels, cultural venues, and public space. The company's stated approach pairs development with the ongoing management and cultivation of the districts it creates. Tsuji has described that work as long-term “city-making” rather than a series of standalone building projects.
