Richard LeFrak
Richard LeFrak is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The LeFrak Organization, a privately held real estate company founded by his great-grandfather in 1905. He joined the family business in 1968 and has overseen its growth as a long-term owner, developer and manager of residential, commercial and mixed-use properties, including large-scale communities in New York and New Jersey. The family’s major developments include Newport, a mixed-use waterfront district in Jersey City, and SoLé Mia, an 184-acre master-planned community in North Miami developed with the Soffer family.
