Mark Gabbay

Mark Gabbay is Executive Chairman of LaSalle Investment Management, the real estate investment-management business of JLL. He led LaSalle as Global CEO from January 2021 through December 2025, after a career that included investment and operating leadership in Asia Pacific. Since January 2026, Brad Gries has served as Global CEO and Tim Kessler as President; Gabbay moved into the executive-chair role following the planned succession.

Career

Gabbay joined LaSalle in 2010 as Chief Investment Officer for Asia Pacific and became CEO of the region in 2015. Before LaSalle, he led Asia asset finance at Nomura, co-led Lehman Brothers' Asia-Pacific global real estate group, and headed real estate lending for Japan at GMAC Commercial Mortgage. He became global CEO in January 2021. LaSalle's December 2025 announcement said he would become Executive Chairman on January 1, 2026, with Gries promoted to CEO and Kessler to President. Gabbay's earlier CEO remit included strategic leadership of LaSalle's global operations and investment activity; the firm's transition announcement credits his tenure with strengthening the platform but does not quantify an individual performance contribution.

Leadership Scope

LaSalle invests in real estate on behalf of institutional and other clients across regions and strategies. Gabbay's current executive-chair position is distinct from the day-to-day global CEO role. Any assets-under-management or performance figures should be dated and attributed to the firm, rather than treated as Gabbay's personal investment record.
