Lee Neibart

Lee S. Neibart is a veteran real estate investor whose career spans investment management, development and hospitality real estate. He led Apollo Real Estate Advisors—later AREA Property Partners—as global chief executive from 1993 to 2013. A public-company filing described him as a founding partner and recorded his work at the Robert Martin Company, where he rose to executive vice president and chief operating officer before joining Apollo. At AREA, Neibart oversaw investment and management across multiple real estate funds and joint ventures. A ULI conference biography reported that the platform invested in more than 500 transactions with an aggregate value exceeding $60 billion; those are historical firm figures from the period of that profile, not a current portfolio measure. After AREA, he served as senior partner and chairman of Ares Management’s Real Estate Group through 2018, extending his institutional real-estate career into another large alternative asset manager. A later professional announcement identifies Neibart as chairman and senior partner at Trinity Investments, a real estate investment and operating company focused on hotels and resorts. Trinity’s strategy is a shift from his earlier diversified real estate platform toward hospitality assets. Because current public evidence is thinner than the historical record, this page treats that role as last publicly identified rather than implying continuous or more recent responsibilities without confirmation.
