Career
Ng joined Sino Group as an executive in its development business in 2003 and became an executive director in 2005. He was appointed deputy chairman in November 2017 and assumed the group chairmanship in August 2025. He holds a master's degree in real estate development from Columbia University. Beyond the operating companies, he has held public and nonprofit roles in Hong Kong, including work connected to urban development, environmental policy, and youth programs.
Focus
Sino Land's published business spans property development and investment, with projects and holdings in Hong Kong, mainland China, Singapore, and Australia. Ng's official biography identifies him as chairman of the group and of the listed Sino Land and Tsim Sha Tsui Properties companies. Those roles establish his leadership scope; individual projects should be attributed to him only where project-specific evidence supports it.
Sustainability and the Built Environment
In interviews, Ng has described sustainability as an operating priority that reaches building design, construction, and property management. A Singapore Management University interview discusses Sino's work on heritage revitalisation, including the conversion of Singapore's Fullerton Building into The Fullerton Hotel and the surrounding Fullerton Heritage waterfront precinct. The examples are company projects rather than personal deals, but they show the place-making and adaptive-reuse themes Ng has publicly emphasized. A separate interview about 133 Portofino in Sai Kung described its WELL Core v2 pre-certification as the first for a Hong Kong residential project; that is a reported project milestone, not evidence that Ng personally designed or delivered it.
