Brian Kingston

As of October 6, 2026, Brian Kingston is executive chair of Brookfield’s real-estate business, providing strategic oversight of investments and operations and serving on its Executive Committee. The Brookfield REIT biography separately identifies him as CEO since April 2023 and board chair since November 2021. Career

Kingston joined Brookfield in 2001. He became CEO of Brookfield Property Group in 2015 and later led Brookfield's real estate business at both Brookfield Corporation and Brookfield Asset Management. Brookfield's 2024 management circular describes his earlier roles as CEO of Brookfield Office Properties Australia, CEO of Prime Infrastructure, and CFO of Multiplex. In 2025, the company named Lowell Baron CEO of Real Estate and Kingston Executive Chair. Brookfield says the chair role focuses on strategic oversight of investments and operations and on supporting continued business growth. Kingston holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Queen's University.
