Billy Butcher

Billy Butcher is a partner at KKR and, as of 2026, co-CEO of Global Atlantic and head of strategy at KKR. Earlier in his KKR career, he helped establish the firm's global real estate business and served as its co-president. Butcher joined KKR in 2004. The firm says he has held roles in U.S. private equity, helped launch KKR's Japan business in Tokyo in 2006, and helped establish its global real estate business in 2011. He later served as co-president of that business. He is now co-CEO of Global Atlantic and KKR's head of strategy, so his current remit is broader than real estate.
