Career and Focus

Ruh built a career in enterprise technology before entering the property sector. At GE, he led the company’s digital business and programs in analytics, AI and data. Lendlease appointed him CEO of Digital in 2019 to accelerate digital transformation across its development and infrastructure projects. His remit included embedding digital services, automating processes and advancing smart-city strategies. Lendlease said its digital platform would use data across the property lifecycle, from design and construction through operations.

One outcome was Podium, a digital property lifecycle platform intended to connect data and processes across property and construction supply chains. Lendlease described it as a way to improve productivity and create new digital services. Ruh’s work is relevant to CRE as a technology and operating-platform executive, rather than as an investor or developer. Lendlease materials identified him as CEO of Digital into 2021, and later professional profiles still carried that title. Public sources reviewed here do not establish his present employer or role after he returned to the United States in 2024; the page therefore treats Lendlease as a documented prior position, not a confirmed current appointment. Before GE, he held senior roles at Cisco Services.
