Benjamin Butcher

Career

Before forming STAG Industrial, Butcher oversaw the predecessor investment business through STAG Capital Partners and its affiliated entities. The company biography describes earlier work in real-estate investment, debt and equity transactions at Credit Suisse First Boston, and business development at Nomura Asset Capital’s CMBS group. He became STAG’s CEO, president and chair in July 2010. After a multi-year succession plan, he transitioned from CEO to executive chairman on July 1, 2022, while Bill Crooker became CEO and president.
